A motorcycle rider fighting for his life after laying his motorcycle over on Loop 250.
It happened Wednesday afternoon on the northbound access road of the Loop near west Highway 80.
According to police, 53-year old Billy Darby had to lay the bike its side, when the vehicle in front of him slowed down to avoid a collision.
Both the cycle rider and passenger were thrown off.
We're told neither were wearing helmets.
Darby was taken to the hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.
His passenger was not seriously hurt.
