An Odessa company opens its heart and its wallet to help the Salvation Army.

After seeing NewsWest Nine's story last week on the Odessa Salvation Army's trouble getting enough bicycles to give out at Christmas, the President of Fitz Equipment Company decided to do something to help, to the tune of five thousand dollars worth of bikes.

Academy Sports in Midland was able to get the bikes in, their bike assemblers worked non-stop to make sure all 130 bikes were put together for the Salvation army to pick-up Monday  afternoon.
