A routine traffic stop in Reeves County turns into a big bust.
Deputies tell NewsWest Nine they knew something wasn't right when they pulled 26 year old Joel Villegas for speeding, and started questioning him. Once troopers started searching Villegas' van, they say they found 160 pounds of pot in two metal containers.
Deputies also discovered Villegas was also wanted for probation violation in Navarro County.
He's in jail on drug charges.
Villegas' bond is set at 75 thousand dollars.
