Big Spring woman out of a job after stealing money from the City

A Big Spring woman out of a job, and in big trouble with the law for stealing from the City.

Marie Wilson, a former record clerk has been charged with theft by a public servant.

Police say she stole deposits made to the city, dating all the way back to December of 2000.

That's seven years.

We're told Wilson was fired back in November, but investigators held off arresting her until the investigation was finished.

No word on how much cash she allegedly made off with.
