The Odessa College Reading Lab gets some big bucks and a new name.
A ceremony was held at the College on Thursday to announce the naming of the Doctor Imogene Freer Reading Lab.
Along with the announcement came a donation for 50 thousand dollars from the late Doctor Freer's husband, Sherman Freer.
Doctor Freer served as the chair of the reading department from 1958 to 1984, and was instrumental in the establishing the reading lab.
