A professor at U.T. Permian Basin accused of assaulting a disabled student back in October.
Campus police say it allegedly happened Oct. 11, but was not reported until the 15th.
After investigating, authorities concluded no punches or pushing was involved.
University officials say protecting their students is a number one priority.
"Our students are protected, and we take any complaint by the student extremely seriously that is why we have our own police force here," Melanie Nicholas, Public Information Officer with UTPB, said.
U.T.P.B. Officials say they turned the case over to the County Attorney, but the County Attorney tells NewsWest 9 they never got the case.
