LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Las Cruces police have one person in custody in the investigation into a shooting death in Las Cruces this morning.
But Las Cruces police spokesman Dan Trujillo won't identify theperson in custody or the victim.
State police say an off-duty state police officer, Susan Kuchma, was shot and killed in Las Cruces early today.
