The Big Spring Salavation Army's Angel Tree Program gets a big boost for the holidays.

The Big Spring Rotary handed over a check for 550 dollars on Tuesday at the Salvation Army's Office on West fifth street.

The money will be used to help buy Christmas presents for deserving children in Big Spring and Howard County.

"Our Local Big Spring kids will have a good Christmas.  It's really hard when you have little ones who cannot open presents on Christmas Day, that's really what it's all about is the kids at Christmas time," Debbye Valverde with the Big Spring Rotary Club, said.

It's not too late for you to help the Salvation Army with the Angel Tree Program.

Just look for the trees at Wal-Mart, Beall's, Scenic Mountain Medical Center, The Big Spring Herald, and The Salvation Army offices.
