The FBI Office in Midland is sending out a warning about new scam here in the basin.
Callers are claiming to be from the U.S. Census Bureau to try and steal your personal information.
Don't fall for it.
The U.S. Government takes a census every ten years, and the next one will happen in the year 2010.
Census takers show their identity, and never ask for your social security number or bank account information.
