A Southeast Texas man is critical condition after being hit by an SUV Friday morning near U.T.P.B.
It happened a little before seven near the intersection of Maple and JBS Parkway.
According to witness reports, 25 year old Darrell Wayne Owens of Pasadena was walking in and out of traffic, dodging passing vehicles when he was hit.
Owens was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The driver, Carla Maddoux, got two tickets, for no license and no insurance.
