Midland Police now know what happened after finding a disabled senior citizen hurt in his home on Monday.
He was the victim of a robbery, and police now have three men behind bars.
41 year old Donald Schmidt, 23 year old Robert Trabant, and 25 year old Brian Green are all facing aggravated robbery charges after they allegedly broke into the house of 66 year old Edwin Burger.
It all started Monday night when a friend found Burger laying on the floor of his home.
Police later tracked the men down to a stolen credit card they used at a convenience store.
After getting the license plate number, troopers stopped the truck in Gardendale.
All three suspects were inside, along with some stolen items from Burger's home.
Police have also learned that the suspects and burger knew each other.
No bond has been set yet.
