A trip to school for some Crane students turned into a trip to the hospital when their bus collides with a tanker truck Monday morning.
The wreck happened around 7:30 Monday morning, on south Highway 385, about eight miles south of Odessa.
According to troopers the big rig was coming off a county road, the driver checked both ways, and crossed to the median.
Troopers say the bus, going northbound, never saw the truck due to poor visibility from Monday morning's fog, and ran right into it.
All three people on the bus, two students and a driver were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
Troopers say the wreck could have been a lot worse.
"Drivers need to be more cautious. This could have been a worse scenario and goodness it's not," Trooper Ray Flores with the Texas Dept. of Public Safety said.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the accident.
We're told no tickets will be given.
