There will be one more student from the Permian Debate Team facing disciplinary action, after they were caught with alcohol on a school trip.

That will bring the total number of students headed to alternative school to six.

State troopers caught the students last Friday on their way to a debate team competition in Abilene.

Investigators say their school bus was pulled over on the access road of I-20, just outside of Tye.

Troopers checked to make sure everything was okay, and that's when they found several students vomiting on the side of the road.

One girl was found unconscious on the bus; she was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.

Half of the students on the bus were given tickets for either minor in possesion or minor consuming alcohol.
