One junior high school gets an a-plus when it comes to helping the United Way.

Out of all the other schools in the Ector County School District, Bonham Junior High raised the most money for United Way cranking out a total of more than 8-thousand dollars.

On Thursday, they gave a check for 5-grand to Harmony Home.

The students decided to help the organization out after hearing a presentation from Harmony Home.

That home helps abused children.
