A cigarette sparked a grass fire near FM 1788 and Highway 191 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Fire Marshal.
The fire started around lunch time.
This was just one of three calls fire fighters answered Wednesday near this intersection.
Fire Marshal Dale Little tells NewsWest the dry grass and high winds are making the area susceptible to grass fires.
Firefighters have been going to a lot of roadside fires, thanks to smokers throwing their lit cigarettes out of their car windows.
