An old junior high school building in Big Spring could be hitting the market soon.

The Big Spring School District closed the old Runnels Junior High building back in 1998, and used it for storage.

School board members voted to sell the building after the district was contacted by several people interested in buying it.

The property has been appraised at nearly 150 thousand dollars, but it would cost about half a million to get rid of all the asbestos.
