Ector Theatre presenting the updated version of "The Wizard of Oz"

Its a trip down the yellow brick road you probably haven't taken before.

The Ector Theatre Department will present the updated version of The Wizard of Oz.

While the story features all the original characters, some of the music may surprise you.

This years play boasts rapping munchkins, and a surprise duet with the wicked witch and the wizard himself.

The performance will run for the next three days at the Ector Junior High auditorium at 7 p.m. nightly.

Tickets are 5-dollars for adults and 3-dollars for students.
