State Senator Seliger was in Midland on Tuesday, speaking at the Petroleum Club.

While he was there, he spoke to the Permian Basin Landman's Association about State Legislation that didn't pass in the 80th State session.

The main topic for the Senator was making sure that these landowners understood how important their input is for him and the State.

"The point I hope to make is if people of the Permian Basin Landman's Association, Permian Basin Petroleum Organization have a role to play in guiding that legislature.  Certainly, their input is very important to m to see to it that we address an important subject in such a way that it's not detrimental to the production of the industry," Senator Seliger said.

Senator Seliger serves as Vice Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee and as a memeber of the Natural Resources, International Relations and trade committees as well.
