On Tuesday, the March of Dimes is hosting Prematurity Awareness Day.
This honors premature babies who are fighting for their lives in the NICU.
On Tuesday, community grants were awarded and balloon release along with other activities.
With prematurity awareness week there is a city wide baby shower that you can donate to for the hope chest.
