Another development for the FutureGen Project.

The U.S. Department of Energy says all the sites vying for the cutting edge, coal powered plant, are enviromentally acceptable.

Developers are considering two sites in Illinois, as well here in Odessa, and Jewett, Texas for the 1 point five billion dollar project.

Late last week, the Energy Department issued its final environmental impact statement rating all four sites acceptable.

FutureGen developers will make a final site selection after each town has a 30 day public comment period.
