Fire destroys home in West Odessa

Staff Report
NewsWest 9

High winds fueled fast moving flames at a home in West Odessa Monday night.

It happened at the intersection of Cavazos and Rosamond in West Odessa.

When neighbors saw it, they called 9-1-1.

The winds helped fueled the blaze, causing it to spread quickly.

Officials say the building was under renovation at the time.

The owners were trying to bring it up to code to move it.

The home is a total loss.

No one was inside when the fire sparked up.
