A Michigan man has been charged in a gruesome hit and run death.

Police say Arthur Haynes hit 53-year-old Joseph Candela on Saturday, then drug Candela's body for four miles before stopping.

According to police Haynes then got out of his car, pulled Candela's body free, and continued on his way.

He has been arraigned on charges of manslaughter, leaving the scene of the accident, and driving with a suspended license.

On Monday Haynes' bond was set at just $10,000, which angered members of Candela's family.
