Voters in Howard County haven't approved a new jail yet, but commisioners are moving forward with plans to build one.

On Monday, they agreed to hire Dinosaur Valley Construction for the project.

The company's fee is figured into the cost of building the 96 bed facility.

Voters will decide November sixth if they want to approve an 11-point-seven million bond for a new jail.
