One Midland High School is out-performing the state average.

Premiere High School released their academic reports for 2003 to 2006.

Students improved 27 percent in all TAKS tests during that time, and in some cases outperformed the state average in certain subjects by double digits.

School officials say those numbers show charter schools are a viable alternative for students.

Premiere High School currently has more than 150 students in grades six through 12.
