Would your child talk to a stranger?
You might be surprised.
Midland police say, many times they do.
That's why the department has a program called "Stranger Danger."
It's designed to teach children one very important fact, if you don't know or recognize someone, they are a stranger, so stay away.
Officers go into to schools teaching these safety lessons, but they say parents play a key role in educating their kids about talking to people they don't know.
