The Pecos County Sheriff's Office found the 16 hundred dollars stolen from a gas station in Bakersfield Sunday night, but they're not saying where it was uncovered.
The armed robbery led to an 18 hour manhunt, which was later called off.
A man allegedly stole the cash from a gas station after pointing a gun at the clerk.
Authorities are looking for black man, about 5'10, with gold teeth.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black bandana.
