Fatigue blamed for fatal big rig accident near Ft. Stockton

Fatigue lead to a fiery crash near Fort Stockton that left two people dead.

It happened around lunchtime on Tuesday on Interstate 10, about 30 miles east of Fort Stockton.

Troopers say one truck was going east, the other heading west.

The driver of the semi going west fell asleep at the wheel crossed over the median, and struck the other big rig on its left hand side.

The impact pushed both trucks into a ditch, causing both to burst into flames.

Both drivers were killed.

Their names have not been released.
