Big news out of the odessa high football program, as Senior quarterback/wide receiver David Camacho has been dismissed from the team by Head Coach Ron King.
Sources close to the O-H-S program say King's decision has been based on attitude problems, and Camacho not showing up to practice Monday was the final straw.

Camacho, who started this season as the Bronchos' quarterback and returning starter, had recently given way to Sophomore Derrick Teegarden, and moved to both wide receiver and even played defensive back last week against Abilene Cooper.

The Bronchos coaching staff is not commenting, calling it an "in-house decision."

Camacho set an OHS single season record in 2006 with 17 touchdown passes.
