Two people killed in car crash near Socorro

SOCORRO, N.M. (AP) - A Las Cruces man and woman have been killed in a car crash on Interstate 25 north of Socorro.

State Department of Public Safety spokesman Peter Olson says their names are being withheld until their families are notified.

He says the man and woman were in a southbound car that left the roadway and smashed into a hillside yesterday.
