Bond has been set for the man police say robbed a signature loan store Wednesday.

But Raul Sanchez, Junior, remains behind bars in the Ector County Detention Center.

Police say the 22-year-old walked into West Texas Finance on Andrews Highway and 31st,  and started to fill out a loan application.

That's when investigators say he robbed the business at knifepoint.

Two clerks working inside say things didn't become dangerous until Sanchez started demanding money, and pulled out a large knife.

When he ran out with jewelry and cash, they called 9-1-1.

Sanchez faces charges of aggravated assault and aggravated robbery.

His bond has been set at 200 thousand dollars.
