We now know the identity of the body found in Pecos County.
Pecos County investigators say its 26 year old Tanya Michelle May, formerly of Odessa.
May's body was found 15 miles north of Ft. Stockton off FM 1053.
According to authorities, the body was found by the land owner while he was checking on wells on the property last Thursday.
Investigators believe the body had been there for several weeks before it was found.
No word yet on the cause of death, the body has been sent to Lubbock for autopsy.
