SANTA FE (AP) - The American Planning Association has listed Santa Fe's Canyon Road as one of the top 10 streets in the United States.
The association says the streets on the list have characteristics including good design, functionality, sustainability and community involvement.
Canyon Road dates back about 400 years to Santa Fe's founding.
The road has buildings dating back more than 250 years.
But many of the homes on the road have been converted into art galleries and craft shops during the 20th century.
