Virgil Duncan Jr. bond set at $10,500 dollars

A bond has been set for a Midland man arrested by deputies.

20 year old Virgil Duncan Junior is now in custody at the Midland Detention Center.

His bond is 10-thousand 500 dollars.

The Sheriff's Office says they found him speeding down a county road Saturday morning.

When deputies tried to pull him over, he took off.

They chased him to a home on East County Road 120.

That's when investigators say duncan lost control, jumped out of the truck and ran.

After a short foot chase, Duncan was arrested.

They learned the truck had been stolen from the east side of midland.

Duncan faces charges of stealing a truck, evading arrest, and giving authorities a fake name when they questioned him
