A two car crash ties up traffic in Odessa for nearly two hours, after what appears to be a high speed hit.
The crash happened at 42nd and Tanglewood around 7:30 Wednesday night.
Witnesses say the silver car was coming down 42nd when it slammed into the passenger side of an SUV turning onto tanglewood.
According to police, witnesses told them the car appeared to be racing or speeding, and ran a red light
Investigators are still checking the facts out.
According to police, the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with broken legs.
The driver of the SUV wasn't hurt, however the man's wife, who was on the passenger side that was hit, was taken in with minor injuries.
Police had to block off part of 42nd and Tanglewood for nearly two hours before the wreckage could be cleaned up.
