Reeves County Deputies arrest another bank robbery suspect

For the second time in two weeks, Reeves County authorities make an arrest tied to a bank robbery.

Deputy Ernesto Lazcano, with the Crime Interdiction Unit, says 48 year old Robert Clarence Pierce of Sacramento was arrested in Reeves County Tuesday night for speeding.

But when authorities searched his car, they discovered black tar heroin, meth, and a pistol.

Authorities later learned he had a warrant out for his arrest in connection with two bank robberies in California.

He's also wanted in Oregon on drug charges.

Pierce has been charged in Reeves County for second degree felong drug charges, and felony possession of a weapon.

Last week, we told you Reeves authorities chased a suspect down I-20 who was later identified as a suspect in a bank robbery in Dallas.
