Folks in Midland Saturday morning had the chance to go golfing for a good cause.

It was all part of the 4th annual M.I.S.D. Education Foundation Tee It Up For Success Golf Tournament.

The money raised goes towards projects that helps kids further their education.

And those involved say they've raised 42-thousand dollars this year for M.I.S.D.

A step up from past years.

"I just wanna thank everybody that's come out to play today.  I think it really shows how they feel about the kids in Midland, and their support of the education of the Midland I.S.D.," David Garcia, a local golfer said.

The money raised also goes towards scholarships for teachers to further their education as well.
