More troubles for the Texas Youth Commission.

Almost 20 percent of juvenile offenders who were released in March are back behind bars.

That's according to a recent report.

More than two-thousand of the prisoners released.

Out of that, about 400 have been arrested again for new crimes.

Almost fifty for violent crimes.

Earlier this year texas officials launched an investigation on the T-Y-C in response to a sex abuse scandal at the West Texas State School in Pyote.

New changes in the law prevent any youth convicted of Misdemeanor or who is older than 19 years old from being held at a T-Y-C Juvenile Facility.
