The fundraising is on in Odessa for kids at the Boys and Girls Club to make sure they are ready for back to school.
On Sunday, Lithia Hyundai, along with members of the Boys and Girls Club played a friendly pickup game of basketball.
Those involved say this is a great way to raise money, and have a little fun at the same time.
"We've raised a little bit of money, we've like I said, just kind of a random little deal that we got together with, but it turned out to be that every point that the Boys and Girls Club scores, we are going to donate 5 dollars to their organization to buy books, school supplies, backpacks and things like that," Curtis Andrews, with Lithia Hyundai of Odessa, said.
"In about the middle of the year, they run out, and sometimes we have it as storage, we can always help the kids, because we have a tudoring program here at the Boys and Girls Club where the kids have supplies," Stevie Brewster, Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Club, said.
Members of the Boys and Girls Club say they are happy to be helping the kids out, with school just around the corner.
