Hundreds of West Texans came out to celebrate Rock the Desert.

The Christian music festival in Midland county finished up Saturday night with some of thier headliner bands.

The festival began Friday.

They've had numerous Christian rock bands as well as food and fun activities for all.

And not only have Texans shown up for the event, but Out-of-Staters have come in as well.

"We have 7 states represented here today that we know of, maybe more, so we're excited, and we think this type of out reach too our young people playing that kind of music that draws them here, and may soften their heart to something that may change their life through Jesus Christ, we're excited about that, we think it's important," Michael Goeke, Executive Director for Rock the Desert said.

Rock The Desert has partnered with multiple charitable groups including food for the hungry.
