Members of Troop 19 were outside of the staples in Midland on Saturday.

Jonithan Subia, the Senior Patrol Leader, was working on his Eagle Scout project.

He says having your children's fingerprints taken helps during any emergencies.

"It's so important, because you see on the news a lot about all these kidnappings and the amber alerts, but I'm just trying to get out there, and try to prevent at least some of it, so that we can get it done a lot faster," Subia said.

Subia also says having kids fingerprints on record helps to protect them in case something bad happens.

For those who did show up, the scouts say they kept it fun and enjoyable for all.
