City of Hobbs narrows finalists for City Manager to two

The City of Hobbs is closer to hiring a City Manager.

The number of finalists for the job has been narrowed to two.

Former Gallup City Manager Eric Honeyfield and former Leesburg,

Florida, City Manager Ron Stock will be interviewed Wednesday and

Thursday by the Hobbs City Commission.

The finalists were selected from a pool of about 40 applicants.

The new manager will succeed Dan Dible, who plans to retire next

April.

He has worked for the City of Hobbs since February 2003.
