A Midland man found guilty of shooting a Midland High football player is now heading to jail for violating his probation.

Jared Longbotham is not supposed to be drinking, but an ankle montior he's instructed to wear recorded a hit back in March.

He must now serve 90 days behind bars.

That's not all.

The judge also tacked on an extra year of probation and 50 hours of community service.

Longbotham must report to jail this Friday.

In 2005, a Midland jury found him guilty of shooting 18 year old Brett Ledford outside T&T Donuts on Wadley.
