Local DJ Mike Lawrence and his son Eric finally got to climb down from the roof at the Ector County Coliseum.

The father son duo spent the last four nights on that roof, to make sure Saturday night's Roughnecks game was a sellout, all to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

The pair made it down from their lofty living quarters, just before kickoff, and say they are happy they could raise money for the kids.

"We feel pretty good, we're just in need of a shower, since last Tuesday, since we've had that kind of luxury, but you know, how we feel is really, really good, in so far as the Roughnecks cut a check for 10-thousand dollars for the Children's Miracle Network," Mike Lawrence of Kicks 99, said.

For each ticket sold at Saturday's game, the Roughnecks are donating a dollar to the Children's Miracle Network.
