Woman accused of DUI and crashing her car through Kroger store pleads guilty

A woman accused of DUI after she crashed her car through the doors of a Kroger store in Frankfort, Kentucky last month pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Emily Gable pleaded guilty to first-degree DUI and second-degree wanton endangerment in the incident.

Gable will get in-house treatment and will have her license suspended for 60 days.

Police say Gable was driving in the parking lot of the store and apparently hit the gas rather than the brakes on her Mercedes-Benz.

The car narrowly missed a man who was near the front doors of the store, crashed through the front double doors, veered right, crashed through a second set of double doors and stopped after hitting a pole located near the store's service desk.
