WASHINGTON (AP) - Senator John Cornyn today reported that he's raised two-point-one (m) million dollars over the past three months.

That now gives the Republican junior senator five-point-four (m) million in campaign cash.

Cornyn could face a challenge in the general election next year. Among the possible challengers are San Antonio lawyer Mikal Watts, a Democrat.

Watts has reported having nearly five million in cash on hand for his campaign.
