In Lovington, New Mexico, the School Board is getting ready to decide if they're going to start random drug testing students in extracurricular activities.

The district is looking at a program similar to the one recently passed in Hobbs and Clovis.

The tests could cost the District about 55-hundred dollars a year.

The School Board is expected to vote on the proposal next month.
