On Monday, in a press conference at the Ector County I-S-D Administration Building the District will file an answer to the American Civil Liberties Union's lawsuit on the Bible course.

Legal representatives for the school district will present the Chief Counsel and Director of Litigation with the A-C-L-U with a response to the bible course lawsuit being unconstitutional, on Monday at 1-30.

In May, the A-C-L-U and eight Odessa parents filed suit against the district because they believe the bible course violates the separation between church and state, and taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill for it.

They also say the course promotes a particular religion, and doesn't do it objectivly.
