It's the crack in the case they've been waiting for.

The woman, Midland Police have been looking for in connection with a fatal accident has turned herself in.

36 year old Paula Bryan Link, surrendered Thursday night.

She was wanted for questioning in an accident that took the life of 64 year old Rudy Herman.

Herman fell out of a truck at the Town and Country on Garfield and Front street.

Police say Herman and a woman got into a fight, then drove off together.

The woman, who was driving, turned back to the store, and Herman somehow fell out.

Witnesses say she got out of the truck, looked at Herman, then fled on foot.

Herman died Tuesday.

Hermans' body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.

Investigators think Paula Link may have been driving that truck.
