Project to bring state of the art energy technology to West Texas underway

The project to bring state of the art energy technology to West Texas is underway.

This comes after the partnership of Navasota Energy Partners l-P, and Quail Run Energy center.


Quail Run has begun generating megawatts for phase 1 of its 550 megawatt gas fired combined cycle power plant in Odessa.


The first phase consists of 275 mega-watts.


The plant has been built using state-of-the-art emissions control technology, that has either met or exceeded all state and federal regulations for a plant of this type.

     According to police, a black Ford F-150, being operated by Marcelo Olivas, 17, was traveling on private property when a 20-month-old boy ran out in front of the F-150 and was struck by it.
