High Speed Pursuit suspect behind bars in Midland

The man police say led them on high speed chase Sunday night, through Midland and Odessa, woke up in hot water.

The chase ended just West of Loop 250 on Highway 80 in Midland.

That's after stop sticks blew out the car's tires.

The driver of a stolen camaro refused to get out of the car.

Officers fired rubber pellets  into the windshield to get the man to come out.

But ultimately they had to drag him out.

The man faces charges of evading arrest and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

The chase started around 8-30 Sunday night on Fifth and Jefferson in Odessa.
